FUNDRAISER - FOR EACH £20 DONATED YOU GET ONE FOREST GONG TICKET

Bob, the Volvo, is in need of urgent repair. Painfully, he snapped his gear cable on the way to Forest Gong last week! Each donation of £20 will be reciprocated with a Forest Gong Ticket!

I use my car to take my elderly vulnerable Mum to the shops, urgent appointments as well as taking my disabled Dad (a subural hematoma survivor!) to cricket matches on Lindfield common and to the pub! I also use my trusty steed to get me to facilitate Forest Gong - Qi Gong communing with nature, teaching Tai Chi in Uckfield, Croydon and Brighton...

I have curated this fundraiser to pay to fix Bob! The Car Mechanic has quoted me £750 (including VAT) to Get Bob Back on the Road. Once we reach 35 Forest Gong tickets the fundraiser will be complete.

Sunday 26th April, Sunday 10th May, Saturday 30th May, Sunday 14th June, Sunday 12th July and Saturday 25th July.  Further dates TBA. 11am Stanmer Park Brighton (meet opposite the koisk and next to the kids play area at the main entrance).

Dates for Forest Gong in Croydon:

Saturday 9th May, Saturday 23rd May, Saturday 13th June, Saturday 11th July. 10.30am ParkHill Park Croydon. (Meet near the ParkHill Water Tower)

Date for Forest Gong in Uckfield (car dependent): 

Wednesday 15th July 10.30am Luxford Fields Central Uckfield

Fundraiser Terms and Conditions

Organiser: Caspar Kelvin Ingham
Purpose: Raise funds to repair my car
Charity/Recipient: N/A (This is a private fundraiser)
Forest Gong Tickets: Offered as a thank-you gift for donations. Forest Gong Tickets must be used within three months of the date of donation.

1. Eligibility

  • Donors: Anyone can donate, but you must be 18 or over to participate in activities related to the fundraiser (e.g., if you’re organizing an event).
  • Organiser: Daoyogi Taiji, QiGong & Minfdful Movement is responsible for managing donations and distributing Forest Gong tickets.

2. Donations

  • Minimum Donation: £20 (or equivalent) for 1 Forest Gong ticket.
  • Payment Methods: Accepted via [Online booking, bank transfer, PayPal, cash].
  • Currency: All donations must be in GBP (£) unless otherwise agreed.
  • Receipts: Donors will receive an EMAIL RECEIPT (e.g., via email or message) confirming their donation and ticket allocation.

3. Forest Gong Tickets

  • Allocation:
    • 1 ticket per £20 donated (e.g., £40 = 2 tickets).
    • Tickets are non-transferable and valid only for the specified Forest Gong event(s).
  • Redemption:
    • Tickets will be sent digitally via email within 2 days of receiving the donation.
    • Tickets must be redeemed in person at the Forest Gong event(s) specified by the organiser.
  • Limitations:
    • Tickets are not refundable if the event is canceled or the donor cannot attend a new event will be scheduled which the ticket will be valid for three months from the date originally booked..
    • The organiser is not responsible for lost, stolen, or expired tickets.

4. Funds Usage

  • Transparency: All funds raised will be used exclusively to repair my car.
  • Proof of Use: Upon request, I will provide receipts or invoices for car repairs to donors.
  • No Refunds: Donations are final and cannot be refunded, even if the fundraising goal is exceeded or the required amount to fix the car has not been reached, although your Forest Gong ticket will be valid for three months from the date of booking whether or not the car repair is able to take place, for events in Croydon and Brighton only.

5. Data Protection

  • Donor Information: Your name and email (if provided) will be used only to send receipts and tickets. Data will not be shared with third parties.
  • Right to Withdraw: Donors can request their data be deleted by contacting me at brighton[@]daoyogi.co.uk.

6. Disclaimers

  • No Guarantee: There is no guarantee that the fundraising goal will be met or that the car will be repaired, if for example the amount is not fully reached.
  • No Liability: The organiser is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury related to the fundraiser or the use of Forest Gong tickets.
  • Forest Gong Independence: All ticket allocations are subject to Forest Gong’s own terms and availability.

7. Changes and Cancellations

  • Event Changes: If the Forest Gong event(s) change or are canceled, I will notify donors and offer alternatives (e.g., refunds or transfers to another event, if possible).
  • Fundraiser Cancellation: If the fundraiser is canceled, donations will be returned in full to donors.
